About TrendGuides

We write for people who want to get something done without wading through fluff: season a pan, choose a mattress, keep a plant alive, clear out a closet. Each guide aims to tell you what actually matters, what to look for, and what to skip, in plain language.

How we research guides

We focus on product categories and methods, not on ranking specific brands or models. Before we publish, we read widely across manufacturer instructions, established consumer and cooking resources, and public guidance from bodies like food-safety regulators, and we favor advice that is conservative and widely agreed upon over anything novel or surprising.

We do not run lab tests, and we do not pretend to. When a guide describes how something behaves, it reflects general, well-established practice rather than invented test scores, ratings, or measurements. If a topic genuinely depends on personal preference, such as how firm a mattress should feel, we say so instead of handing you a false answer.

What we will not do

• We do not accept payment, products, or anything else in exchange for coverage or placement. No one can pay to appear in a guide or to rank higher in one.
• We do not invent statistics, star ratings, test results, quotes, testimonials, or reader counts.
• We do not make medical claims. Our sleep and kitchen guides are about comfort and practical choices, not health outcomes.
• We do not recommend specific products by brand as a way to sell them.

Our byline

Guides are published under the byline TrendGuides Editors. We are a new publication and would rather be honest about that than invent a roster of experts, awards, or a history we do not have. What we can promise is that every guide is written to be accurate, useful, and free of hype.

Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes, and we would rather fix them than hide them. If you spot an error, email contact@trendguides.shop and tell us what is wrong and where. We will check it, correct the guide if needed, and note meaningful changes.

Making money

TrendGuides is free to read. In the future, some links in our guides may earn us a commission, which never changes what we recommend or how we write. We explain this in full in our advertising and affiliate disclosure. We have no current sponsors or advertisers.
