What we run today

Right now, TrendGuides carries no advertising, no sponsored content, and no affiliate links. We have no current sponsors or advertising partners, and nothing on the site is paid for by anyone. The guides are simply what we think is accurate and useful.

Affiliate links in the future

In time, some links in our guides may become affiliate links. That means if you follow such a link and buy something, we might earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. If and when we add them, we will:

• Note on the relevant guide that it contains affiliate links.
• Keep the commission separate from what we recommend and how we write.
• Update this page so it always reflects what we actually do.

A commission would never change our advice. We write about product categories and what to look for, not about pushing particular products, and that does not change whether or not a link earns us anything.

No pay for placement

No company can pay to appear in a guide, to be recommended, or to rank higher. We do not accept payment, free products, trips, or gifts in exchange for coverage. We do not publish sponsored posts or guest articles. This is the core of how we work, and it is described further in our editorial standards.

Honesty about limits

We do not invent prices, ratings, test scores, or rankings to make a recommendation look more authoritative. When our guides describe what to look for, that is general, well-established guidance, not a staged review.
